So in preparation for the upcoming 600 miles on Sookie, I was wondering how many of you would take your bike in to the dealer for their first 600 mile service?

I tend to not take my bike in if I do not have to. Too often I find scratches that were not there before, and just don't feel like paying $xxx.xx for an oil change...I can do that myself...I have already checked all the bolts, tension in the cables, and topped off all fluids...even set the suspension the way I like it.
What else is involved in the dealer's 600 miles service plan?

I have heard some say that your factory warranty will not be honored if you do not bring your bike in for it's 600 mile service. Is this true?
