Also, when are you going synthetic?

Nice, got about 100 miles in yesterday after the O/C.
I couldn't swear to it, BUT, it should be the same filter. Suzuki has used the same filter on 99% of their bikes in the past 10 years at least... When I bought it from Fox Valley Honda on Sat, the guy at the counter just grabbed it without even looking at the number when I said "Suzuki..."
Oneida Suzuki has it listed as 16510-03G00-X07 (same as the busa for all years - also, I don't think the "-X07" really matters)
I'll probably go Synthetic after about 3000 miles or so (with oil changes at 300, 600, & 1000). I've been doing a break-in that falls somewhere between the "ride it hard" and the factory break in. I didn't really plan to do it that way, but:
1) streets around here don't really lend themselves to the "ride it hard" break-in (and, I don't think a police officer is going to care about your break in on a hard 3rd gear run...).
2) I definitely haven't stuck to the factory safe 5000rpm limit either... If there's anyone out there that can resist the urge to open this bike up, I think they're riding the wrong motorcycle, LOL.
