I have no idea about this show yet. My dealership might not even make it. I bet you wont see many other dealerships there.
Hell I bet it wont be as big either.. i bet a lot of vendors back away also.. same manufacture setups.. etc. its a ugly 2009 year.. Now after the sky is falling speech.. the only reason i like the show really.. is its weeks away from riding season yet again! No matter what.. we still can ride! |

I'm going on Friday or Saturday. I kind of like to go alone so I can look at whatever vendors I want and go back to different displays as much as I want. Last year I spent about an hour in separate chunks sitting on the bike I was considering buying. Unfortunately I learned just because a bike is comfortable to sit on doesn't mean it is comfortable to ride!

Fred, I agree. There will be a lot less vendors at the show. Triumph is the only manufacturer that won't be in attendance. They stopped attending the show a few years ago. Damn Brits! I wanted to see the newly updated Thruxton.

i havent figured out what day i'll go.
I typically go on Friday as the doors open, but i'll watch for the board to see when you guys may head out there and if it all works out, i'll bump into you guys and say hello! Based on what Geoff said, Shame on Triumph for at least the past 2 or 3 years for not attending! They've gotta be there, especially when poor little Royal Enfield is there w/ all 4 of thier bikes!!!!! Looks like they put thier money on that DEMO TRUCK they send all over the state througout the year...

I enjoyed Triumph's demo ride at MCC last summer. It would still be nice if the bikes were on display at the show. With no factory presence, a dealer display would get lots of traffic.
Speaking of demo rides...I read that the IMS show in Long Beach had bikes on display (except Triumph) and demo rides. Of course, with our crappy weather that will never happen here. I'm going to the show on Friday. I'll be there when the doors open.
