Sookie's new clothes...

Well, I'm almost done with Sookie's planned mod list for this year. Still waiting on my exhaust and a couple of items, but here she is with some work done to her House of TORQ style!

But first, here is Kevin at Safety First Racing working on Sookie with me...Many thanks Kevin, aside from the crazy heat - it was fun working on the beast with you and Skinny...

So we installed a pair of adjustable lowering links in the rear and lowered the front. Kevin at Safety First Racing also set my sag, rebound and compression settings for my weight and style of riding.

I also painted my rearsets black (Not sure why Suzuki left them silver?!?!)
Then added some rim stripes that have the Suzuki "S" and "B-King" logo on them with a carbon fiber background as well...very motogp'ish!

Once lowered, I needed an adjustable kickstand to accommodate the new stance....

Added some custom carbon fiber/delrin frame sliders and matching swingarm spools...

Finally got my genuine carbon fiber shell for my tank from Australia, it was not easy putting it on.....

My CRG Hindsight Lane Splitter Mirrors...Nice convex glass mirror with a ball detent system which folds in if it is bumped and returns to it's previous postion....Had to modify the adaptor kit to fit with the stock tuned Suzuki bar-end weights.....nothing was simple to put on....

A must have for any B-K owner who rides....the stock radiator does not have a guard!
This install was easy. Although the guard itself was kinda pricey, it was worth it to me not only for the protection, but the low-key styling and use of factory mounting points...

Looks nice, epecially the carbon fiber bits!! Are you replacing the mufflers? The OE pipes give the bike a Buck Rogers look.

thanx Geoff! yup - still waiting on the exhaust, it's been 4 weeks and counting!!!
I've got a fender eliminator kit as well but will wait to install it together with the exhaust...

Funny thing - the stock exhaust is growing on me. The black is alot easier on the eyes lol!. I'm enjoying the quiet stealthiness of the stock exhaust now. Folks don't know I'm coming until I have passed!

Sweeeeet ride. I really like the stance now since it is lowered. That tank protector is awesome looking. So round one is almost complete. Looking forward to round 2?
