Got a new bike huh? Congrats !! Looks like it will eat up some ground in a hurry.

Thom, here’s what mods I’m planning for now:
I’d do it all at once, but short on $$.
I already have the High Flow K&N stock-box filters installed.
Install PR 97mm hc pistons and PCIII in 2 weeks.
    Plug off AIS.
Cobra swept or V&H Bigshots and churchkey vbak next spring.
    Questions:
    1) Will the stock head gasket work? I’ll order the yami competition gasket set, it has all necessary gaskets incl.
    2) Are the any surprises that can occur during disassembly?
    3) Any tips for a successful rebuild?
    4) Break-in oil? Was thinking of using auto 10-40 wt. for 500 miles, then putting synthetic in.
Let me know a good time to talk on the phone.
    Thanks
    Talk to ya soon

Hey Thom, Bob from Oswego. I hope to see the gang at Fil's party again this year. I've been pretty busy w/ work and haven't been up on CLC or RSW for a while... Anyways, I got to thinking about installing a new pipe on my 06. Of all the systems out there, I like the looks of the Rinehart the best. Where did you get yours? Also I have a few questions on some other mods I'm thinking about. I should be home all evening if you can call me on the cell. 630-401-9283. I'm thinking of the hc 97 pistons. Hows the pinging??
    Thanks
    Bob

Thom, front cylindar not firing. Should I just get Yamaha parts or are there any aftermarket coils, caps and wires I should go with. Thanks in advance for any help with this matter. Oh, changed the plugs, thats why I know its a bigger problem. Brian

Hey, Snail/Marty is my hookup from my club, hes a straight up guy, if you can get a better price then they arent making anything on it. Hes only charging enought to cover his expenses of going to pick the oil up from the warehouse.
