Motorcycle Stand/Wheel Chock

Been considering getting this from Harbor Freight:

Anyone have any experience with this one? This will make putting the bikes on stands more of a one-man job...

looks good Thom
I might go to a local HF to get a different trorque wrench if you want to check it out.
i think theres one in Aurora off of Lake and Indian train rd.

is this the model you dont need to drill into the ground for support?
doesnt look like it, which im sure your garage will be happy about

yeah, it's freestanding as well as mountable. Looks to have decent welds and has a thick coat of paint on it to prevent rust long term...pretty simple design which tends to work the best IMHO...

yup - just picked one up tonight. Also got one of these as well:

Should make cleaning/polishing my wheels alot easier...

Also b/c I have a bunch of custom wheels (bike n cars) w/ hard to get at tire valves, I put together my own custom tire chuck/inflator so it's no longer an issue!

Got myself a laser-guided jigsaw as well as a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff...

A very kewl man saw the stuff in my cart there and gave me some coupons! He has a softail and I told him about CLC, so hope to see him here!

Those stands r the cats meow dude. I recomend hard mounting it if u can. Or else have someone stand on the leading edge to prevent it from moving when trying to get the front in. U will also need someone to stand on it to get it out also

or if you could mount it to a sheet of plywood. That will save you from having to attach it to the garage floor, but will keep everything stable.

If you dont mind me askin, how much did that cost yah?

it's on sale now for the low low price of $59.99! Regular price is $79.99!

I have a 15% off coupon in email if anyone wants it. I printed it out and used it, but I think it can be re-used as many times as possible before the expiration date of 1/11...

The plywood idea is a good one. Although I like to be able to hang it up and out of the way when not in use. We'll have to see if it requires any type of mounting. The one they had assembled there looks to be beefy and heavy enough to not move just freestanding...

Thom, give us some feedback on the front wheel stand and roller base after you've used them.

sure thing - I'll add to the product reviews section...probably won't be for a while until it warms up a lil bit though....
